Camper of the Month:
Soon to come!
Maple Creek Riding Camp
Welcome to Maple Creek, the equestrian summer camp established decades ago by Mrs. Alice Gooding. Its property spreads across the picturesque countryside of Virginia, and its program promises to provide campers with months of fun and learning alongside safe, top-quality horses.
Set in Stone All rules, plots, histories, records etc will be posted here. Please read the rules before joining; the game will be easier to play in the long run if you do.
Office (1 sub-board) Campers should head down to the office first thing to get their room and horse assignments and schedules, as well as to meet their counselors and dormmates.
Yard The camp's barns have always been separated from the rest of the property by a large dirt yard with paths leading off to the riding rings and trails. This is usually where riders mount up and where groups or classes meet before going riding.
Paddocks Bring your horses here for turnout. The horses should get turned out at least every other day, mares and geldings separate from stallions. There are 16 small paddocks and 8 large ones in all.
